The Emergency Services Department, Government of Punjab, invites qualified candidates to apply for the following positions in the Air Ambulance Service.

Available Positions:

1. Senior Air Medical Officer (BPS-18)
   • Number of Posts: 2
   • Qualifications: MBBS with valid PMC/PMDC registration, a minimum of 3 years of experience, and an age of 30 years or above.
2. Air Medical Officer (BPS-17)
   • Number of Posts: 1
   • Qualifications: MBBS with valid PMC/PMDC registration, a minimum of 1 year of experience, and an age range of 24 to 40 years.

Preference: Applicants with a license to fly or experience in aviation will be given preference. Depending on experience, age relaxation and market-based pay may be provided.

Application Process:

• How to Apply: Interested candidates must apply online at the official website, www.rescue.gov.pk, by September 16, 2024. The Human Resource Wing, Emergency Services Headquarters, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore, is also the address for postal applications.
• Important Notes: Only complete online applications that meet all criteria will be accepted. All submitted documents are provisional, and appointments are subject to confirmation by the Punjabi government’s medical board, police verification, successful training completion, and clearance of the documents.

Selection Process:

• Tests: A physical test will come after the written and psychological/aptitude tests, which will take place in designated locations.
• Interviews: Interviews will be held at the Emergency Services Headquarters.
• Medical Criteria: Applicants with weak eyesight, obesity (BMI 30 or above), or positive results for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, and RPR will be shortlisted at any stage. Preference is given to candidates with a height above 5.6 inches and a minimum chest size of 33 inches.
• Note: Candidates are advised to apply for only one suitable position. However, suitable candidates may be adjusted against other positions based on the Recruitment Committee’s recommendations.
