Job Opportunity: Japanese Language Instructor

The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) is seeking qualified Japanese Language Instructors on a contract basis to provide language training to Pakistani individuals aiming for employment in Japan. The role is integral in equipping trainees with Japanese language skills required for levels N5 and N4 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).

Position: Japanese Language Instructor (2 positions)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct language training aligned with JLPT standards to prepare trainees for levels N5 and N4.
• Develop and deliver a customised training module tailored to the needs of the Pakistani workforce.
• Create certification tests and communication exercises to assess and enhance trainee language skills.
• Utilise multimedia tools for effective teaching and ensure that training is adaptable to the trainees’ cultural backgrounds.
• Carry out any additional tasks as per the evolving requirements for Japanese language skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a diploma in the Japanese language from a recognised institution or university, either local or international.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Japanese language trainer in a reputed organisation is required.
• Preference will be given to native speakers of Japanese.
• Strong phonetics, communication, and interaction skills are essential.
• A good understanding of Japan’s TITP/SSW Programme is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional attitude.

Salary: Rs. 70,000/- (negotiable based on qualifications and skills)
