The Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites applications from skilled and experienced professionals for contractual positions related to the design and construction of Jinnah Medical Complex (JMC) in Islamabad. This project is a significant step in enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the region. Successful candidates will be hired under Project Pay Scales (PPS), and their expertise will directly contribute to the timely and effective completion of the project.

Available Positions

CDA is seeking professionals for the following positions:

1. Project Director
   • Qualification: Master’s in Civil Engineering
   • Experience: Minimum 20 years of project management experience in large-scale hospital or educational infrastructure projects.
   • Expertise: Construction planning, execution, and team leadership.
2. Procurement & Contracts Specialist
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Law.
   • Experience: Minimum 15 years for a Bachelor’s degree holder and 10 years for a Master’s degree holder in procurement and contract management, preferably in hospitals or institutional projects.
   • Requirement: Knowledge of public procurement rules and contract laws is mandatory.
3. Chief Architect
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Architecture
   • Experience: Minimum 15 years (Bachelor’s) or 10 years (Master’s) in designing healthcare or educational facilities.
   • Skills: Proficient in architectural software and project visualization tools.
4. E&M Engineer
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
   • Experience: Minimum 10 years in designing and managing electrical and mechanical systems for large-scale projects.
   • Preference: Familiarity with hospital-grade systems is preferred.
5. Planning Engineer
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field
   • Experience: Minimum 10 years in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
   • Skills: Expertise in project management software like Primavera or MS Project is mandatory.
6. QS Engineer
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
   • Experience: Minimum 5 years in cost estimation, BoQs, and tendering processes.
   • Skills: Proficiency in QS tools and software.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications
Each position requires a specific level of education and expertise. The educational criteria associated with each role are listed in the available positions.

Age Limit

• Project Director: Maximum 55 years
• Procurement & Contracts Specialist: Maximum 50 years
• Chief Architect: Maximum 50 years
• E&M Engineer: Maximum 45 years
• Planning Engineer: Maximum 45 years
• QS Engineer: Maximum 35 years

Job Type

• All positions are offered on a one-year contract. Contract extensions are subject to project needs and performance.

• Islamabad, Pakistan.
