Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), a ‘AAA’ rated financial institution with over 500 branches nationwide, is seeking dynamic, challenge-driven professionals to join the team as Departmental Head (Special Assets Management)—VP. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in Special Assets Management/Recovery, particularly in the agri./SME/Consumer financing sectors of the banking industry. The position requires individuals capable of delivering transformative performance in a demanding environment.

Job Details

• Position Title: Departmental Head (Special Assets Management) – VP
• No. of Positions: 2
• Job Type: Contract (5 years, extendable based on performance)
• Job Location: Islamabad/Karachi
• Gender: Open to all
• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Preference for candidates with a Master’s degree in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or equivalent foreign qualification.
• Experience: At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in Special Assets Management/Recovery within the banking sector, preferably in Agri. recovery.
• Age Limit: Maximum 60 years as of the closing date.

Job Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Divisional Head.
• Monitor and manage infected portfolios, analyse budget vs. achievement, and implement corrective measures within allocated regions.
• Set and achieve predefined targets for NPLs and charge-off portfolios.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for each branch/MCO circle to maximise recoveries and minimise losses.
• Lead recovery campaigns and field visits to ensure the achievement of recovery targets.
• Provide feedback to strengthen NPL management policies and internal controls.
• Liaise with field staff to manage the disposal of acquired properties.
• Supervise and monitor SAM offices and ensure timely filing of recovery suits for delinquent customers.
