Job Overview:
Utopia Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced General Manager of Human Resources to lead our HR functions in the Home Textile segment. This role is pivotal in aligning our human resources strategies with the company’s overall objectives, ensuring effective management and optimisation of HR operations. The position involves close collaboration with the executive team to drive organisational success through strategic HR initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals to support the textile production segment.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, working closely with department heads to meet staffing needs.
• Foster a positive workplace culture, manage employee relations, and address grievances to maintain a productive work environment.
• Implement performance management systems to drive employee performance within the production teams.
• Identify training and development needs, and plan, and execute programmes to enhance workforce capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and industry standards, maintaining best practices in HR management.
• Manage and optimise the HR budget to achieve cost-effective results.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with unions and labour representatives.
• Utilise HR analytics to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the home textile industry, preferably with experience in one of the Top 10 textile exporters in Pakistan.
• A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in HR management within the textile industry, with a thorough understanding of production processes.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and data analysis.
