Senior Station Assistant (SSA) and Police Station Assistant (PSA), Punjab Police

Punjab Police invites applications from eligible candidates for the positions of Senior Station Assistant (SSA) and Police Station Assistant (PSA) in all districts. These positions are initially temporary but may be made permanent after evaluation. Applications are required from eligible candidates for recruitment through an online application process. Candidates will be selected based on a written test and merit.
Eligibility Criteria for Senior Station Assistant (SSA):
- Age: 18 to 25 years (Male/Female)
- Residence: Candidates must have a domicile of the relevant district and hold a valid ID card.
- Education: Intermediate in Computer Science (ICS) from a recognized board, with preference given to BS/BSc.
- Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Eligibility Criteria for Police Station Assistant (PSA):
- Age: 18 to 25 years (Male/Female)
- Residence: Candidates must have a domicile of the relevant district and hold a valid ID card.
- Education: Intermediate in Computer Science (ICS) from a recognized board, or a computer certificate (MS Office) from an approved institution. Preference will be given to BS/BSc degree holders.
- Typing Speed: Typing speed of 35 WPM in English and 25 WPM in Urdu.
Instructions for Candidates:
- Interested candidates must register on the Punjab Police website www.punjabpolice.gov.pk and upload their application form and educational certificates.
- An application fee of PKR 2500 must be deposited in the relevant account, and the receipt should be uploaded with the application.
- Candidates can check the recruitment schedule and receive notifications via online or SMS alerts.
- District Murree, Talagang, Kotli, and Wazirabad residents should apply through their previous district.
- Government and semi-government employees must upload a departmental NOC.
Important Notes:
- Candidates must pass an English and Urdu typing test. Successful candidates will then undergo a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on the same day.
- Those who pass the test will be called for an interview at a 3:1 ratio.
- Candidates can practice typing speed using www.fast-typing.com to prepare for the test, as passing both typing tests is mandatory.
- Candidates claiming additional marks based on kinship must upload all relevant documents, such as pension books and retirement orders.
- All candidates must submit an affidavit (on stamp paper) declaring that they are not involved in any criminal cases. Submission of false affidavits will lead to disqualification and legal action.
- If, at any stage, the documents such as educational certificates, domicile, or ID card are found to be fake or unauthenticated, the candidate’s appointment will be canceled and legal action will be taken.
- No expenses incurred during the recruitment process will be reimbursed to the candidates.
- The selection process will include a medical examination at a provincially authorized hospital, and failure in this examination will result in disqualification.
