The Government of Pakistan’s Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives is inviting applications for multiple contract-based positions under the PSDP-funded project titled “Establishment of Federal SDGs Support Unit.” These positions will play a crucial role in supporting the country’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda by contributing to various sectors, including social, environmental, economic, and administrative areas. We are looking for highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team and support Pakistan’s progress towards achieving the SDGs.

Job Details:

• Position Title: Social Sector Specialist (PPS-10)
  • Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies in poverty reduction, food security, health, education, and gender equality sectors in alignment with SDGs.
• Position Title: Environment Sector Specialist (PPS-10)
  • Responsibilities: Design and implement environmental sustainability projects, address climate change, and manage natural resources.
• Position Title: IT/Dashboard Expert (PPS-09)
  • Responsibilities: Develop digital tools and dashboards for real-time SDG monitoring and data visualization.
• Position Title: Admin & Finance Officer (DDO) (PPS-08)
  • Responsibilities: Oversee administrative and financial operations, ensuring transparent governance and resource utilization.
• Position Title: Economic Sector Specialist (PPS-10)
  • Responsibilities: Provide insights for economic reforms, job creation, and poverty reduction to promote sustainable economic development.
• Position Title: Data/Statistics Expert (PPS-09)
  • Responsibilities: Collect and analyze data to monitor SDG progress and support evidence-based policy-making.
• Position Title: Communication Expert (PPS-09)
  • Responsibilities: Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness of SDG initiatives and engage the public.
• Position Title: Research Analyst (PPS-08)
  • Responsibilities: Conduct region-specific research to guide SDG projects and address local challenges related to sustainable development.
• Position Title: Office Assistant (PPS-05)
  • Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to ensure efficient project execution and documentation.
