Job Description:

Meezan Bank is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals for the Cashier/Teller position at Meezan Exchange Company. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for Islamic finance and currency exchange operations.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum Intermediate or Graduate from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
• A qualification in Islamic Finance will be preferred.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in foreign currency dealing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage over-the-counter currency exchange transactions at Booths or Branches, ensuring efficient service and minimal wait times for customers.
• Verify the authenticity of foreign currencies and detect counterfeit bills, maintaining strict compliance with company SOPs.
• Reconcile and balance cash tills at the beginning and end of each day.
• Review and maintain daily transaction reports and records.
• Manage cash holding levels, arranging timely disposal of excess cash.
• follow the line manager’s instructions regarding any additional tasks or assignments.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling currency.
