The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) was established under the Islamabad Healthcare Regulation Act of 2018. Our primary responsibility is to regulate and oversee public and private healthcare establishments in Islamabad, ensuring quality healthcare services for all. We are committed to setting and maintaining high standards of healthcare delivery across the region.
IHRA is seeking highly motivated and qualified professionals to join its prestigious Pool of Assessors, who will critically evaluate healthcare facilities based on the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS). These positions offer a unique opportunity to contribute to healthcare excellence on a flexible, need-based engagement.
Available Positions
We are looking to build a diverse pool of specialists, including but not limited to:
- Clinical Specialists (Level 2b or Level 3, PMDC registered)
- General Medical/Dental Doctors (MBBS/BDS, PMDC registered)
- Homeopathic Practitioners (BHMS or DHMS, registered with National Council for Homoeopathy)
- Tabibs (BEM or FTJ, registered with the National Council for Tibb)
- Nurses (BS Nursing/Post RN or higher, PNC registered)
- Pharmacists (B-Pharmacy/Pharm-D, registered with Pharmacy Council)
- Electro-Medical Engineers (B.Sc in relevant fields, registered with Pakistan Engineering Council)
- Bio-Medical Technicians (Diploma from recognized institution)
- Laboratory Technologists (BS MLT, HEC recognized)
- Physiotherapists (DPT, HEC recognized)
- Speech Therapists (MS SLP, HEC recognized)
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Each role requires a specific degree and relevant certification from national councils. Detailed requirements for each position are mentioned above under “Available Positions.”
Age Limit
The age limit is flexible and based on experience; generally, we seek professionals with 8-15 years of post-qualification experience in their respective fields.
Job Type
This is a part-time, need-based role. Selected assessors will be engaged as per IHRA’s requirements, with no regular retainership. Each engagement will be made on the approved terms and conditions.
Job Location
Assessors will work within the Islamabad Capital Territory, primarily assessing healthcare establishments based on IHRA standards.
