Job Opportunity: Cash Officer at HBL

We seek a dedicated Cash Officer to handle and execute all financial and non-financial transactions in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Services:

• Ensure accurate and error-free processing of all financial transactions (cash receipts and payments) and non-financial transactions within delegated authority and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to achieve high customer satisfaction.

Control and Compliance:

• Follow all processes according to the bank’s SOPs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure policy compliance and enhance branch performance.
• Monitor branch operational reports to mitigate risks and contribute to satisfactory audit ratings.

Branch Security:

• Safeguard the cash vault, stationery, and ATM during transactions to maintain security and reduce the bank’s risk exposure.
• Report suspicious transactions to the Branch Operations Manager or Manager Teller for timely escalation to compliance.
• Recover charges as per the Schedule of Bank Charges (SOBC) to prevent financial loss.

Reporting:

• Maintain all cash-related reports and transactions as per the defined policies for regulatory bodies (State Bank of Pakistan) and senior management.

Operational Execution:

• Manage cash in hand and vault according to the State Bank’s clean note policy and assigned cash-in-safe limits to avoid regulatory penalties and attain satisfactory audit ratings.
• Ensure cash balances are reconciled with the general ledger in all currencies to prevent discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: Graduation in any discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills Required:

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
