The Punjab Forest Department promotes sustainable forest management and environmental conservation. We are enhancing our GIS-based Forest Management Information System as part of our initiative. We are currently seeking motivated and qualified individuals from Punjab to join our team on a contract basis.

Available Positions

We are hiring for the following positions:

• GIS Assistant (BPS-12) – 4 positions
• Surveyor (BPS-05) – 4 positions
• Driver (BPS-05) – 2 positions
• Attendant (BPS-02) – 1 position
• Naib Qasid (BPS-01) – 2 positions

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• GIS Assistant (BPS-12):
  • Higher Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) or equivalent qualification.
  • One-year Diploma in GIS from a recognized institute, OR
  • One-year relevant experience in a public or private organization.
• Surveyor (BPS-05):
  • Higher Secondary School Certificate (Second Division).
  • Diploma in Surveying from a recognized institute.
• Driver (BPS-05):
  • Middle School Certificate.
  • Valid Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) driving license.
  • Five years of experience driving light transport vehicles.
• Attendant (BPS-02):
  • Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) with Science.
• Naib Qasid (BPS-01):
  • Primary School Certificate.

Age Limit

• GIS Assistant: 18–25 years
• Surveyor: 20–25 years
• Driver: 25–35 years
• Attendant and Naib Qasid: 18–25 years
  (General age relaxation: 5 years for males, 8 years for females as per Punjab Government rules.)

Job Type

• Contractual basis, extendable based on performance, under Contract Policy 2004.

Job Location

• Punjab Forest Department, GIS Lab, 108-Ravi Road, Lahore.
