Qualification:

• BE in Electrical or Electronics
• MEM in Energy or Plant Management preferred

Required Experience:

• 8 to 10 years of experience leading process machine maintenance in a large-scale textile setup
• At least 3-4 years of experience in an engineering department within a managerial capacity
• Strong skills in planning, workforce optimization, financial management, and Lean concepts
• Proven experience in managing high-level engineering projects
• Expertise in textile machines and processes

Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating the operation and maintenance activities of mechanical, electrical, and electronics sections. This role requires leading strategic planning for engineering services to ensure uninterrupted and smooth production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee engineering and maintenance services to ensure optimal performance and reliability of production machinery
• Supervise preventive maintenance compliance and effectiveness across dyeing & processing, printing, weaving, stitching, and packing to maintain machinery and equipment in top condition
• Manage in-house services such as workshop machining, spares management, and fabrication to ensure timely project execution
• Plan and implement cost-effective capital and non-capital projects to ensure economic sustainability
• Coordinate with departments for energy audits, address findings, and ensure compliance with HSE and audit requirements
• Evaluate operations to identify areas for improvement and research new technologies to enhance efficiency and service delivery
