The IBA Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, is inviting applications for the position of Executive HR. This role is crucial in managing the complete recruitment and onboarding process, including identifying hiring needs, sourcing candidates, and facilitating new employee orientation. Key responsibilities include developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, maintaining candidate databases, and managing employee records. The Executive HR will play a vital role in enhancing the overall recruitment experience while ensuring alignment with the organizational goals.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying recruitment needs by analyzing organizational plans, objectives, and hiring requisitions from various departments.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and specifications; create and post job advertisements for open positions across multiple platforms.
  • Source and attract potential candidates through various channels to build a pool of qualified candidates.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify the most suitable candidates.
  • Conduct initial telephonic interviews and coordinate technical tests and panel interviews based on the candidate’s grade level.
  • Create interview kits and collaborate with hiring managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and Heads of Departments (HoDs) to schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, maintaining strong relationships to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prepare documentation for the selection board and coordinate logistics to ensure an efficient recruitment process.
  • Maintain candidate databases and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Assist in preparing hiring/salary authorizations for selected candidates by analyzing grade details.
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates and facilitate negotiations when necessary.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process, keeping them informed of their application status.
  • Prepare and issue appointment letters to selected candidates and manage the onboarding process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new onboarding and plan orientation.

  • Education: Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates with an MBA and/or International HR certification will have an added advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a Human Resource department, preferably managing Talent Acquisition in the educational sector.
