Position: Deputy Manager Transport Safety

Location: Thar Site

Key Requirements:

• Education: BE/BS in any Engineering discipline.
• Experience: 5-7 years in fleet safety management, with at least 2 years in a management role within a leading organization’s fleet safety program.

Core Responsibilities:

• Enforce transport safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the organization’s Safety, Health, and Management System (SHMS) requirements.
• Develop and implement site-wide transport Safety KPIs.
• Monitor vehicle and driver safety through regular inspections, ensuring all vehicles meet safety standards.
• Oversee driver behavior and performance, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments of transportation activities and investigate incidents or near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and lead training programs for drivers and transport staff to enhance safety practices.
• Create and maintain emergency response plans for transport-related incidents, ensuring preparedness in case of accidents or emergencies.
