Important Information

1. Eligibility: Candidates’ eligibility will be determined according to HEC criteria and AIOU’s recruitment policy. Shortlisting and scrutiny will be carried out strictly according to the AIOU services statutes of 1978, as amended.
2. Age Limit: The maximum age limit will be relaxed according to the Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993.
3. Application Process: Applicants are required to apply online through AIOU’s Job Portal: careers.aiou.edu.pk.
4. Professor and Associate Professor Applications: Applicants for Professor and Associate Professor positions must submit their applications online, followed by four sets of hard copies in binding form and one soft copy (CD) in PDF format. Include attested copies of academic documents, research articles, and relevant testimonials.
5. Previous Applicants: Candidates who applied against the posts advertised in June 2022 need not apply again.
6. Current Employees: Applicants working in government or semi-government organizations must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and service certificate(s).
7. Right to Change: AIOU reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or not to fill any post without assigning any reason.
8. Processing Fee:
   • BPS-18: Rs. 1,500/-
   • BPS-19: Rs. 2,000/-
   • BPS-20 & BPS-21: Rs. 5,000/-
   • Download the Challan Form from the AIOU Job Portal.
9. Deadline: The last date for submission of applications is October 30, 2024.
10. No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided.
