The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) seeks a highly motivated and qualified individual to join its Internal Audit Department as an Assistant Manager/Manager based at the Head Office in Karachi. PSX is crucial in Pakistan’s economic development by providing a transparent and efficient marketplace for investors and issuers. To support its mission-critical operations, PSX has implemented state-of-the-art technology infrastructure, and we are looking for an individual who can ensure the integrity of our operations through rigorous internal audits. Job Details:

• Position Title: Manager Internal Audit Department
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Job Category: Internal Audit
• Job Location: Karachi
• Gender: Open to all
• Education: Fresh Chartered Accountant (CA) with completed training, preferably in external audit, or ACCA with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in external audit
• Experience: CA training or three years of experience for ACCA candidates, preferably in a CA firm
• Age Limit: 32 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform assigned audits under the audit plan.
• Review audit work quality to ensure adequate documentation and conclusions.
• Prepare audit programmes and conduct/supervise audit fieldwork.
• Document audit observations with supporting evidence.
• Assist with tasks assigned by the Audit Committee/BoD.
• Perform any special tasks assigned by the Chief Internal Audit Officer (CIAO).

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within teams, focussing on deadlines and high-quality deliverables.
• Proficiency in technology and attention to detail.
