Utopia Industries Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-orientated Compliance Manager to join our team at Utopia Head Office in Karachi. The incumbent will ensure that all aspects of the business comply with both internal and external regulatory standards, focussing on quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations. This role will involve overseeing the product certification process for various industry standards like OEKO-TEX, MIG, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, FSC, and BSCI. The successful candidate will lead internal audits, manage compliance risks, and collaborate with departments to maintain and implement best practices across operations.

• Education: BE/BS in Textiles or Master’s in a relevant field
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience leading compliance in a medium- to large-scale industrial setup

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage product certification processes (OEKO-TEX, GOTS, etc.).
• Identify compliance risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure manufacturing units comply with certifications and maintain up-to-date records.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes in compliance and certification standards.
• Develop and implement compliance programmes, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of textile industry standards and certification requirements (OEKO-TEX, GOTS).
• Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 14001, 45001) and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in managing compliance risks.
