Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) as Sipahi General Duty

Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) invites applications from civilians and ex-servicemen for limited vacancies of Sipahi General Duty. Appointments will be made based on provincial quotas.

Position: Sipahi General Duty

Provincial Quotas:

1. Merit: 7.5%
2. Punjab (including Federal Areas of Islamabad): 50%
3. Sindh Urban: 7.6%
4. Sindh Rural: 11.4%
5. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (including merged districts of ex-FATA): 11.5%
6. Balochistan: 6%
7. Gilgit-Baltistan: 1%
8. Azad Kashmir: 2%

Note: 5% quota is reserved for minorities.

Eligibility Criteria for Civilians:

• Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation (higher education will be preferred).
• Age: Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age as of September 30, 2024. (Age relaxation of 5 years as per government rules is included). Preference will be given to younger candidates aged 18 to 22 years.
• Physical Standards:
  • Height: Minimum 5’6″ (preference for taller candidates).
  • Chest: Minimum 33 inches with 1.5 inches expansion.
  • Weight: Minimum 121 pounds (must meet medical standards).
  • Nationality: Pakistani.

Eligibility Criteria for Ex-Servicemen:

• Educational Qualification: As per prevailing regulations.
• Age: As per prevailing laws effective on September 30, 2024.

How to Apply: Interested candidates can register online at the Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) website: https://pakistanrangers.punjab.gov.pk from August 31 to September 9, 2024. After registration, candidates should report to their selected registration center at 0800 hours on the date mentioned in the online slip for an initial medical examination, physical test, and written exam.
