Assistant General Manager Mechanical

Job Description

Unicol Limited, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager Mechanical to head the Mechanical Department at our Sugar Plant Site in Sargodha. This is a leadership role where you will oversee mechanical maintenance operations, ensuring optimal plant performance during crushing and off-season periods.

Key responsibilities include managing maintenance teams, executing timely repairs and overhauls of machinery (including milling tandems, boilers, centrifugals, evaporators, pumps, and conveyors), supervising off-season projects, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. You will also be responsible for preparing and managing annual maintenance budgets, ensuring compliance with safety, ISO, and HSE standards, coordinating procurement for spare parts, and maintaining adherence to environmental regulations.

This role demands a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in sugar plant machinery, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead teams towards operational excellence.
