The Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Government of Punjab, is committed to promoting youth development and sports activities across the province. We strive to provide opportunities for young individuals to grow through various programs, including the Chief Minister Internship Program. This initiative aims to offer meaningful internship opportunities for youth to gain practical experience, build skills, and prepare for their future careers.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Required: 16 years of education in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, Economics, or an equivalent field from a recognized institution (HEC accredited, local, or foreign).
Preferred: Certification in Project Management (PMP).

Experience

At least 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 4 years in a senior position within the public or private sector.
Must have significant experience in project management, preferably in youth or internship-related initiatives.

Age Limit

32-45 years

Job Type

Contractual, based on the project timeline (until 31-05-2025 or project completion).

Job Description

As the Coordinator for the Chief Minister Internship Program, your responsibilities will include:

Planning and overseeing the entire internship program, including recruitment, training, and evaluation.
Building strong partnerships with educational institutions, government agencies, and private companies to secure internship placements for participants.
Identify internship opportunities aligning with participants’ skills, interests, and career goals.
Providing ongoing support to both interns and host organizations to ensure a positive experience.
Collecting and analyzing data to evaluate the program’s success and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
Facilitating workshops, seminars, and networking events to enhance the employability of interns.
