The Institute of Ophthalmology & Allied Vision Sciences, Multan, is pleased to announce job openings for multiple positions. We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified individuals for temporary (contract) positions under the project titled “Provision of Equipment for 150-bedded Institute of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences at Nishtar, Multan.” All appointments will follow the guidelines set by the Punjab Health Department Allied Health Professional Service Rules, 2012 (amended) and Punjab Health Department Technical Posts Service Rules, 2003.

Available Positions

We are hiring for the following positions:

1. Junior Technician (Surgical)
   • BPS: 09
   • Number of Positions: 8
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years
2. Laundry Machine Operator / Junior Technician (Surgical)
   • BPS: 09
   • Number of Positions: 2
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years
3. Junior Technician (Anaesthesia)
   • BPS: 09
   • Number of Positions: 4
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years
4. Bio-Medical Technician
   • BPS: 09
   • Number of Positions: 1
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Junior Technician (Surgical, Anaesthesia, Bio-Medical):
  • F.Sc (Second Division) from a recognized board, with a diploma in the relevant Allied Health Science discipline, duly recognized by the Punjab Medical Faculty.
  • If no F.Sc candidates are available, candidates with a Matric (Second Division) and a two-year diploma in the relevant Allied Health Science discipline recognized by the Punjab Medical Faculty will be considered.
• Bio-Medical Technician:
  • Matric with Science is required, with F.Sc being preferred.
  • A DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Electrical from a recognized institution is required, along with at least two years of experience in a relevant field.

Age Limit

• The age limit for all positions is 18-25 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per the Government of Punjab’s policy.

Job Type

• These are contractual positions, which may be extended based on performance.

Applicants must complete the online form, upload all relevant documents (CNIC, educational and experience certificates, passport-sized photographs), and pay the application fee via the prescribed NTS payment methods.

Important Notes

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the written test and interview.
• To qualify, candidates must achieve at least 50% marks in the NTS test. The department will set the criteria for the final selection.
• No TA/DA will be provided to attend the test or interview.
