Job Description:

The Directorate General of Excise and Taxation, Punjab, is responsible for vehicle registration, token tax collection, and property tax administration and contributes to the government’s welfare projects. Applications are invited for permanent appointments to the following vacant positions of Excise and Taxation Constable (BS-05) in various districts of Punjab.

1. Lahore Region A
   • No. of Vacancies (Open Merit): 66
   • Women Quota: 2
   • Minority Quota: 10
2. Rawalpindi Region
   • No. of Vacancies (Open Merit): 36
   • Women Quota: 1
   • Minority Quota: 5
3. Faisalabad Region
   • No. of Vacancies (Open Merit): 15
   • Women Quota: 1
   • Minority Quota: 4

(Other districts and regions include Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Sheikhupura, Kasur, etc.)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Education: Minimum Matriculation (Second Division) from a recognized board.
2. Age Limit: 18-25 years (Age relaxation of 5 years for men and 8 years for women as per Punjab Government Policy S&GAD).
3. Domicile: Candidates must hold a domicile from the relevant district.
4. Height:
   • Male: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches
   • Female: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches
5. Chest (for males): Minimum 33” with 1.5” expansion.
6. Running:
   • Males: 1.6 km in 7 minutes.
   • Females: 1.6 km in 10 minutes.

Application Process:

1. Candidates can download the application form from the official website: www.excise.punjab.gov.pk.
2. Applications must be accompanied by a challan receipt of Rs. 200.
3. Complete applications must be submitted to the relevant Regional Directorate of Excise and Taxation by 2nd November 2024. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Selection Procedure:

1. Applicants will undergo physical tests, including height, chest measurements, and running tests.
2. A written exam and interview will follow for shortlisted candidates.
