Daily Wages Positions

The Government Vocational Education Center Kharian, a subsidiary of the Government of Punjab, invites applications from residents of District Gujrat for the following positions on a daily wage basis. Interested candidates should submit their applications by September 18, 2024, at the Government Vocational Education Center Kharian, located at the Local Government Academy GT Road, Lalamusa.

Available Positions and Requirements:

1. Music Instructor (Skilled)
   • Qualifications: Matriculation with certification in musical instruments from a recognized institution.
   • Age: 18 to 25 years.
2. Driver (Skilled)
   • Qualifications: Middle pass with HTV or LTV license holders may apply. Preference will be given to HTV license holders.
   • Experience: At least three years of relevant experience.
   • Age: 18 to 25 years.
3. Gardener (Unskilled)
   • Qualifications: Literate or illiterate individuals can apply.
   • Age: 18 to 25 years.
4. Sweeper (Unskilled)
   • Qualifications: Literate or illiterate individuals can apply.
   • Age: 18 to 25 years.

General Terms and Conditions:

1. Applications should be submitted on plain paper addressed to the Headmistress, Government Vocational Education Center Kharian, along with attested copies of educational certificates, CNIC, domicile, experience certificates, and two recent passport-size photographs. A contact phone number must be included in the application.
2. Age relaxation is available as follows: 5 years for male candidates, 8 years for female candidates, and 10 years for disabled candidates.
3. Salaries will be paid according to the government notification No. 2/2022-RO(Tech)F02 dated 2023-09-02 for daily wage staff.
4. Candidates called for the interview must bring their original documents. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
5. After scrutiny, shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. The list of candidates will be displayed on the institution’s notice board.
6. The hiring is temporary and contract-based, valid for 89 days.
7. The competent authority reserves the right to make the final recruitment decision.
8. Interviews will be held on September 30, 2024, at the office. No separate call letter will be issued for the interview.
9. No TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for the interview.
