Survey of Pakistan, Rawalpindi invites applications from Pakistani nationals for various positions. Candidates must possess the required qualifications and experience for each role as outlined below:
1. Assistant (BS-15)
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Domicile/Quota: Open merit
- Age Limit: 18-30 years (inclusive of general relaxation)
- Qualification & Experience: Graduation (14 years) with a background in Mathematics, Physics, or Geography, an Associate Degree in Surveying/Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems, or a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from an HEC-recognized institution.
2. Technical Assistant (Various Trades) (BS-15)
- Number of Vacancies: 6
- Domicile/Quota: Includes reserved quotas for Women (1 position)
- Age Limit: 18-30 years (inclusive of general relaxation)
- Qualification & Experience: Graduation (14 years) in Mathematics, Physics, Printing Technology, Mechatronics, or IT from an HEC-recognized institution.
3. Technical Assistant (Reproduction) (BS-15)
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Domicile/Quota: Balochistan
- Age Limit: 18-30 years (inclusive of general relaxation)
- Qualification & Experience: Graduation (14 years) with relevant subjects.
4. Lower Division Clerk (BS-11)
- Number of Vacancies: 3
- Domicile/Quota: Open merit
- Age Limit: 18-30 years (inclusive of general relaxation)
- Qualification & Experience: Matriculation with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
5. Technician (BS-07)
- Number of Vacancies: 31
- Domicile/Quota: Includes reserved quotas for Women (3 positions), Minorities (2 positions), Disabled (1 position), Punjab (7 positions), Sindh Urban (1 position)
- Age Limit: 18-30 years (inclusive of general relaxation)
- Qualification & Experience: F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or ICS/DAE (Civil/Surveying GIS) from a recognized institution.
6. Driver (BS-04)
- Number of Vacancies: 8
- Domicile/Quota: Includes reserved quotas for Ex-Army (5 positions)
- Age Limit: 18-35 years (inclusive of general relaxation)
- Qualification & Experience: Primary pass with a valid driving license and knowledge of traffic rules.
Important Instructions:
- Candidates applying for BS-07 to BS-15 positions must apply online via the Survey of Pakistan website: www.sop.gov.pk or www.surveyofpakistan.gov.pk.
- For the Driver (BS-04) position, candidates should submit applications using the prescribed proforma on the websites.
- Candidates will be called for screening (written) and skill (practical) tests at specified centers: Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta, and Karachi.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
- All positions are open to Pakistani nationals, and selected candidates may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan.
- Age relaxation will be provided per government policy, and age will be calculated from the closing date of applications, i.e., September 16, 2024.
- The final selection will be based on qualifications, relevant skills, and performance in the required tests and interviews.
Application Process:
- Candidates must produce original documents along with attested copies of educational qualifications, CNIC, domicile, experience certificates (if any), discharge certificate (for Ex-Army personnel applying for the Driver position), and other relevant documents at the time of the interview.
- Applications with false information will be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.
- The last date for submitting applications is September 16, 2024. No TA/DA will be provided to attend the test/interview.
