Walk-In-Interview Opportunity at Bureau of Statistics, Government of Punjab

The Bureau of Statistics (BoS), Planning & Development Board, Government of the Punjab, Lahore, is launching the “Health and Population Survey (HPS) 2024” across all districts of the province. We are seeking suitable and qualified candidates to apply on a daily wage/work basis for approximately sixty (60) working days. The specific criteria for eligibility are detailed below.

Position: Enumerator

  • Total Positions Available: 107
    • Male Positions: 04
    • Female Positions: 103

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum education: BA/B.Sc. (Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Social Work, or Gender Studies).
  • Proficiency in the use of IT equipment, particularly computers and tablets.
  • Experience in conducting tablet-based surveys is an advantage.

Interview Details: Punjab-domiciled candidates are encouraged to appear for a walk-in interview. Please bring a filled application form, original documents, one set of photocopies of all testimonials, and two recent passport-size photographs.

Important Notes:

  1. The number of positions may vary according to requirements.
  2. An additional 10% of the workforce will be trained; final field selection will be based on performance during training.
  3. The number of working days may vary depending on workload.
  4. Selection will be based on merit and domicile; positions are temporary, with no rights to permanent employment.
  5. The Authority reserves the right to terminate contracts at any stage without providing a reason.
  6. Selected candidates will be informed via telephone to attend training.
  7. Successful candidates will be deployed across the division, with priority given to local selectees.
  8. Non-participation in fieldwork after training may result in no payment.
  9. Candidates must sign an agreement to ensure availability and task completion.
  10. Poor performance or unauthorized absence may result in contract termination.
  11. The Department will not provide health or risk insurance for this assignment.
