The Banking Mohtasib Pakistan Secretariat is a statutory body established to address grievances of banking consumers and customers concerning issues related to banking laws, regulations, policies, and practices. We are inviting applications for various positions at our Karachi Secretariat and Regional Offices. Below are the details of available positions and their requirements:
1. Advisor (Equivalent to BPS-20)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree with at least a B Grade or 2nd Division or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university, preferably in Banking & Finance, Commerce, Public Administration, Economics, or equivalent qualifications like CA/ICMAP.
- Senior Banker with a minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably in field banking.
- Proficiency in computer skills, strong writing, and communication abilities.
Max Age: 50 years
2. Consultant (Regional Office Lahore) (Equivalent to BPS-18)
Qualifications & Experience:
- MA in Economics, MBA, or M.Com from an HEC-recognized university.
- Preferably 20-25 years of experience in banking or any regulatory authority.
Max Age: 50 years
3. Deputy Director – Legal (Equivalent to BPS-18)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Law graduate from an HEC-recognized university with sound knowledge of court procedures.
- Minimum of 7 years of practical experience with a legal firm or corporate organization, specifically dealing with banking laws.
Max Age: 50 years
4. Deputy Director – Investigation (Equivalent to BPS-18)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, IT, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
- Adequate computer literacy, with at least 10 years of experience in the banking industry, preferably in field banking.
Max Age: 50 years
5. Deputy Director – IT (Equivalent to BPS-18)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Four-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
- 5-7 years of experience as a System and Network Administrator in a Windows environment.
- Certifications: MCSE or MCITP and CCNA.
- Skills in vendor coordination, network configuration, virtual environments (Hyper-V), Linux servers, and Oracle databases.
Max Age: 50 years
6. Assistant Director (Equivalent to BPS-17)
Qualifications & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Commerce, Law, Banking & Finance, or Statistics from an HEC-recognized university.
- At least 5 years of experience in banking operations, investigation, compliance, and computer literacy.
Max Age: 40 years
Location: Karachi Secretariat/Regional Offices (Faisalabad & Muzaffarabad)
General Instructions:
