The Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) invites applications from qualified candidates for various positions at its Head Office in Islamabad and constituent registries/offices. Details of the available vacancies are as follows:

Vacancies at IPO-Pakistan Head Office, Islamabad

1. Junior IP Assistant (BPS-07)
   • Qualification/Experience: Intermediate with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute. IT Diploma holders preferred. Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, is required.
   • Age Limit: 18-28 years.
2. IP Assistant (BPS-09)
   • Qualification/Experience: 16 years of education with a major in Intellectual Property Rights, Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Commerce, Natural or Social Sciences, or LLB from an HEC-recognized institution.
   • Age Limit: 21-30 years.
3. Examiner of Trade Marks (BPS-11)
   • Qualification/Experience: Minimum 2nd class Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences from a recognized university.
   • Age Limit: 21-30 years.

1. Junior IP Assistant (BPS-07)
   • Qualification/Experience: Intermediate with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute. IT Diploma holders preferred. Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, is required.

2. IP Assistant (BPS-09)

1. Junior IP Assistant (BPS-03)
   • Qualification/Experience: Intermediate with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute. Basic IT Training Course, including MS Office, is required.

2. IP Assistant (BPS-09)
   • Qualification/Experience: 16 years of education with a major in Intellectual Property Rights, Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Commerce, Natural or Social Sciences, or LLB from an HEC-recognized institution.
   • Age Limit: 21-30 years.

How to Apply

1. The recruitment will be conducted according to the Establishment Division’s recruitment policy as per OM No. 53/1/2008-SP, dated 22nd October 2014, as amended from time to time.
2. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
3. A general age relaxation of five years is applicable as per rules, with additional age relaxation as per government policies.
4. Region-wise quotas will be observed as per IPO-Pakistan regulations.
5. Interested candidates should apply online via the IPO-Pakistan Job Portal at https://careers.commerce.gov.pk within 20 days from the publication date.
6. A fee of Rs. 500/- must be deposited in the specified bank account using the Challan Form available on the portal after submitting the online application.
7. Candidates applying for multiple positions must submit separate applications and fees for each post.
8. Applicants already in government service should apply through the proper channel and produce a NOC at the time of the interview.
9. The interview stage will require original documents and attested copies of degrees/certificates.
10. Any false or misleading information in the application will result in cancellation of the application and potential legal action.
11. IPO-Pakistan reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process, including increasing or decreasing the number of vacancies, without prior notice.
12. No TA/DA will be provided to attend tests or interviews.
