Credit Analyst

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Credit Analyst for our Corporate & SME Credit department at BankIslami. The Credit Analyst will determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit by conducting comprehensive credit and financial risk analysis. The role includes preparing memos on assigned credit proposals for onward recommendation and approval after ensuring that all requirements related to risk assessment as per the Bank’s policy and Prudential Regulations have been checked. Additional responsibilities include conducting research on specific industries or markets to understand their dynamics, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring that all credit assessments comply with the organization’s credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and effectively communicating with relationship managers, borrowers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify credit-related issues. The analyst will also identify potential risks associated with credit exposures and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies, such as collateral requirements, among other credit-related assignments assigned by management.
